Welcome to Claremont Prep!
As our Mission Statement conveys, in part: "Our program ensures that each student will reach his or her academic and social potential…." it is the goal of Claremont Prep to provide a high caliber educational experience for every child attending the school.
Class sizes are small to ensure greater individual attention. Within this environment, children are encouraged to pursue learning with eagerness, to appreciate the arts, to develop abilities in the field of athletics and to develop social skills through communication and problem solving. Children are encouraged to look beyond themselves to others through community volunteer programs.
Claremont is situated in a unique area of Manhattan. Lower Manhattan places children in the heart of the financial district while also in the oldest part of the city with opportunities for exploring Manhattan's earliest history.
Claremont offers students an outstanding education for Pre-K through 10th grade students. We are proud and excited to announce the opening of an additional facility in Lower Manhattan for grades 5 through 12 beginning this fall!
As we grow our High School Program, our focus will be highlighted by providing the structure and depth necessary to ensure our students have the opportunity to attend and excel at the best Universities and professional opportunities in the world.
Our facilities offer state-of-the-art technology, spacious and natural light filled classes and work spaces, 25 yard competition pools in each campus, regulation size gyms, professional performing arts auditoriums and a large roof play area in our original building.
Our community is comprised of children from far and wide ranging from Lower Manhattan and the larger New York City region to all corners of the world, including representatives of over 40 nations -- a truly global community.
