COMIC BOOK ART FOR KIDS (PreK-1st) Devin Febbroriello
Students will create their own characters, settings, and plots as they complete basic comic books and other animation from their active imaginations. Race cars driving past castles? Flying dogs in outer space? Superheroes that can swim? Sure, why not! Everything’s possible in comics.
ARTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD! (K-1st) Melissa Lin & Heather Hopwood
In each class, the students will explore and create art from various regions of the world. For example, we will create Japanese Origami forms, African weaving crafts, African tie-dyes, or Greek pottery. We will briefly describe the historical context behind each piece of art and then work with the students to create the art.
