Camp Claremont offers a balance of the physical and the arts to provide campers with an ideal summer. Camp is open to children entering Pre-K through 4th grade.
Children at Camp Claremont are divided into small groups based upon age. We have a head counselor and assistant counselor for each group of 10-15 children. Our head counselors are education professionals who have much experience in the social and emotional growth of children. Our assistant counselors are also highly trained in the education field.
Our program consists of a schedule of various activities such as swim lessons by certified Red Cross lifeguards, visual arts, performing arts, sports and academic tutoring. Children will have opportunities to experience all activities offered at camp. In addition, Camp Claremont will bring in talented outside performers and take the campers on day trips to make the summer unforgettable. We will use all of the Claremont Preparatory School building facilities such as our 25 meter pool, gymnasium, art studios, Science labs and roof deck playground. We will also utilize nearby parks and New York City attractions. Peanut-free lunch and snack will be provided daily.
